Aquatherm Industries, Inc., The United States’ largest manufacturer of solar thermal equipment, primarily used in swimming pool heating applications, travels to Lyon, France this week to exhibit at the Piscine Global Expo which runs from November 18-21. Within the company’s “pellets to panels” approach, Aquatherm’s extrusion, welding, and injection molding processes have been awarded four U.S. and two International Patents for its technology. It will have on exhibit its flagship brands of solar swimming pool heaters, “Ecosun” and “Solar Industries,” as well as its “Sunlite” brand of collectors, which Aquatherm believes is the most cost-effective solar pool heater available today. This year marks the 11th time Aquatherm has exhibited at Piscine Global since 1994, to support its existing worldwide network of distributors, as well as discuss new opportunities.

Both the Ecosun and Solar Industries brand names are globally recognized for superior performance and quality among solar pool heaters. The Sunlite product, with its unique patented insert-molded manifold design, has been recognized throughout the industry as the most cost effective solar pool heater available today.

Aquatherm President and CEO, Dave Sizelove, who has personally traveled to the biennial expo since the company first exhibited twenty years ago, believes the business generated from being at Piscine has always made the show a worthwhile endeavor.

“For years, we’ve been the definitive leader in the U.S. market, which is the number one market in the world based on the sheer quantity of swimming pools,” says Sizelove. “That said, there are certainly markets outside the U.S. that are well worth developing, and exhibiting at international expos like Piscine have helped us to extend our reach into those markets.”

Sizelove is optimistic about this year’s expo, and believes the European pool industry is primed to bounce back after a string of down years. “European market trends tend to closely mirror those in the U.S., specifically in the pool and spa industries. We’ve seen the change back home; attendance at U.S. pool and spa shows has been up the past few years, and we expect the same to happen at this year’s Piscine Expo.”
